Jeff has been in the education field for 38 years, including participating in the Northfield Counseling Institute at the Northfield Mount Herman School and being the assistant director of a boys’ camp in Maine for over 20 years.
For Jeff, he has long enjoyed Brimmer’s inclusiveness around athletics and physical education. A true believer in the importance of physical activity, Jeff encourages all students, despite their ability, to give it 100% and do the best they can.
Outside of work Jeff enjoys spending time with his wife and two sets of twins–all four of whom are Brimmer graduates!

She started rowing in high school and pursued that passion through college and beyond with various clubs.
After a brief career in retailing, Kim fell in love with teaching after coaching crew at Jacksonville University and Williams College. She moved to Boston to get her master’sdegree and continued rowing and coaching crew. Kim started teaching at Brimmer in 1991 and has enjoyed combining her love of children and sports in a wonderful and supportive community. Kim has a certificate in the Fundamentals of Mindfulness and is a member of the Society of Health and Physical Educators (SHAPE).
Outside of work, Kim continues her active lifestyle with running, yoga, aerobics, and hiking. In addition, Kim loves traveling and has been to six of the seven continents.
Growing up in Haverhill and Groveland, Mass., Larry played many different sports, including high school baseball, golf, and track. His interest in sports from an early age is what drew him to pursue a career in athletics and healthcare.
Before joining the Brimmer team in 2015, Larry worked and completed clinical/co-op rotations as an athletic trainer at Harvard, Northeastern, UMass Boston, Curry College, and Stoughton High School. What he enjoys most about being at Brimmer is the opportunity to work with a diverse and enthusiastic group of student-athletes.
Larry is a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) and is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA) and the Athletic Trainers of Massachusetts (ATOM). In his spare time, he volunteers with Athletic Trainers Against Cancer and continues to stay active, playing as much golf and basketball as he can.
