Gators Bounce Back with Big Win
The Gators came out of the gate strong with a few transition baskets and tough defense. At the end of the first quarter, Brimmer was up 21-4 on Newman, with 10 points from Toni Golston in the 1st quarter. Newman answered with a three-point basket and another 2-pointer in the second half, but it wasn't enough for the tough Gators. Going into the half the Gators had a sizable lead 29-9. In the second half, all twelve of the Gators got in the game. In the end, eight Gators scored, with Toni Golston leading with 16 and Lead Bell with 11 points.
