TED Talk- Abigail Washburn

Each of the Upper School’s monthly TED Talks are sponsored by an academic department or a signature program. This month's came from the Global Studies program, headed by Kelly Neely.

Last week, students watched a TED Talk by Abigail Washburn. History teacher Ted Barker-Hook shares, “Ms. Neely and I loved the different approach Ms. Washburn took to international relations, as she moved from a planned career in international law and, in her words, ‘top down change’ to a hybrid of bluegrass and Chinese music and grassroots human connections. There are many roads available to global education and international harmony.”
