Lower School (PK-5)
Applicants to the Lower School will be evaluated in early January. In early December, you will receive an invitation to arrange their child’s evaluation. For your convenience, this visit can also be scheduled at the time of your parent interview.

Report cards and copies of standardized tests are required for applicants to Grade 4 and 5 and should be provided, when available, for applicants to all other Lower School grades.

Middle and Upper School (6-12)
Applicants to the Middle School are required to take the Independent School Entrance Exam. Applicants to the Upper School are required to take the Secondary School Admissions Test. Students should register for these exams online and request that scores be sent to Brimmer (school code #220600 for ISEE and #1860 for SSAT. Applicants will also need to submit school transcripts and three recommendations: Admin (counselor/principal), English, and math.

While applications to the School are due in early January, supplemental materials including teacher recommendation forms, transcripts, and test scores can be accepted through the end of the month.
