Facilities and Teams

In addition to the playing field on campus, Brimmer teams use the Orr playing field and field house owned by the school (992 Dedham St.), and the UMass Mount Ida Campus Facilities (772 Dedham St.). The full-size gymnasium and fully equipped fitness center serve teams and physical education classes on campus. Teams also make use of facilities off campus for practice and interscholastic competition. Our teams compete in the Massachusetts’ Bay Independent League (MBIL), the Independent Girls’ Conference (IGC), and the New England Prep School Athletic Conference (NEPSAC), in addition to invitational matches.

Directions to Brimmer and May School's Campus Field
From Route 128 (95) - Take Route 9 East about 3.5 miles (past the Atrium Mall). Take a left onto Hammond Street (at the CVS). Take first right (after Longwood Tennis Club) onto Middlesex Road. The parking lot is on the left just before the wing shaped building. From Boston - Take Route 9 West to Chestnut Hill. Turn right onto Hammond Street and follow directions above.

Directions to the School’s Orr Field on Dedham Street, 992 Dedham St, Newton
Follow directions above, however, when you get to Hammond Street, turn right if you are coming on Route 9 East and a left if you are coming on Route 9 West. When you get to the rotary, take a right onto Newton Street (second right). This turns into Brookline Street (aprrox. 1.4 miles). Then make a left onto Dedham Street. Go approx. .4 miles and the field will be on your left. There are bathrooms and parking for both vans and buses.

Directions to UMass Mount Ida Campus, 777 Dedham Street, Newton
Follow directions above, however, when you get to Hammond Street, turn right if you are coming on Route 9 East and a left if you are coming on Route 9 West. When you get to the rotary, take a right onto Newton Street (second right). This turns into Brookline Street (aprrox. 1.4 miles).
