Founded in 1880, the School is located in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, and enrolls 390+ students yearly. Head of Lower School
We are seeking an inspiring Lower School Head for the 2019-2020 school year. The Lower School currently enrolls approximately 150 students in grades PK-5. The Lower School Head will be expected to engage with colleagues in ways that inspire them to work collaboratively and reach ambitious goals. The Lower School Head is responsible for the smooth operation of grades PK-5, the development of curricular and co-curricular programs, and for providing leadership to faculty, staff, parents, students, and other school constituents. The ideal candidate is a relational leader who demonstrates creative and critical thinking, cultural competency, emotional intelligence, and a sense of humor. Technology Support Specialist
Brimmer is seeking a Technology Support Specialist/Technology Integrationist. The position’s focus will be network and helpdesk break/fix or academic technology integration work, depending on the strengths of the candidate. When applying please indicate which role you are interested in pursuing. Experience with a macOS and iOS environment is desirable but not required. Flexibility, humor, and ability to work with a wide range of constituents is necessary. Bachelors degree required. This is a part-time position (approx. 15 hours/week). Practices/games/matches are scheduled Monday through Friday from 2:30-4:15 p.m. in the Middle School and 3:15-5:30 p.m. in the Upper School with the occasional away games that may require a later return time. Coaches are responsible for practice planning, player improvement, and game management. Practices should be geared toward fundamental instruction and skill development. Interested candidates should send resumes and a brief summary of qualifications and experience to Upper School Athletic Director Jeff Gates. Stipends are commensurate with experience.
