Jennifer Kunkel

Jennifer's grant was used to purchase a set of iPads for Technology 9 to work with Apple’s Learn to Code curriculum. This will further strengthen the scope and sequence of our Technology Program in the Upper School.

Brimmer already acknowledges the importance of the discipline by offering several computer science courses to our Upper School students. Our challenge is that these courses appeal to a subset of the student body, and we miss an opportunity to introduce computer science to students of under-represented groups. This grant provides a computer science foundation for all ninth graders, regardless of their future pursuits in technology-related courses.
