Physical Education

The primary goal of the physical education program is to assist each child in developing the skills and knowledge of human movement that will result in a lifetime of physical activity. That goal can be achieved only in an environment where the natural enjoyment of moving is enhanced for all children. Activities encourage an appreciation of lifetime sports and an awareness of fitness and good health. The program emphasizes participation, cooperation, and good sportsmanship.
