Curling Bonspiel

Brimmer Curlers competed in finals, known as a Bonspiel, on February 26, 2018, at The Country Club in Brookline. Teams were piped out onto the ice by a traditional bagpiper.

Genevieve Collins's team won the D match against Winsor 6-3. Genevieve led a strong team with Charles Begle and Samantha Estrada and they both had some amazing House Shots. Congratulations to another Brimmer Curling win!

Harry Tan's team lost against Brookline 9-1 in the A match. This was a very tough team to play. Brookline's skip is a member of the Junior National Team and just came back from South Dakota for the High School Final! However, Harry, Jack Durocher, Kaitlyn Anderson, and Saul Hodin held their own and had some excellent shots! They should all be very proud of their game.

Michelle Levinger's team lost 4-2 against Winsor 1 in the C division. They really played well against a very good Winsor team. It was a hard loss because our team played so well. Each member put their all into the match and I look forward to seeing them play next year!
