Gr. 3 French Plays 2018
The third grade showed off their hard work and talent in two French plays on April 13, 2018.
The third grade recently performed: Les trois petits fennecs et les grands mechants chacals (The Three Little Fennec Foxes and the Big Bad Jackals.) and La Famille Singes de Barbarie et les enfants gazelles (The Barbary Ape Family and the Gazelle Children). The students memorized and acted the entire play in French. For the audience of mostly non-French speakers, there were two narrators who spoke both in French and English. The French plays are a collaborative project between the Lower School Creative Arts Department and the World Languages Department.
