China Trip - Summer 2018

Thanks to a generous donation from the Li family, Brimmer was able to send five students and two faculty members to China over the summer. The group consisted of students: Olivier Khorasani ’20, Megan Stander ’20, Michelle Levinger ’19, Jared Heller ’19, and Christopher Harrison ’19; and Co-Director of International Students Helen Du and Middle and Upper School Science Teacher Matt Gallon. When the group arrived in China, they met up with Brimmer student Shaoyang (Alex) Li ’20.

Olivier Khorasani ’20 states, "This journey to China was one of the most life-changing and eye-opening experiences of my life. Everything, from the moment we arrived to the moment we left, was beyond incredible, and I would say every single thing we did on this trip was a highlight. I also wanted to say a big thank you to the Li family for making this trip a reality."

The students created thoughtful movies and documented their experiences in detailed journal entries about their field trips to WPG, Alibaba Headquarters, and The International School in Hagnzhou.
