Day One in Chengdu

We gathered some photo highlights from day one in Cheng Du, which included the first visit to the Panda Research Center, where students did the hard work of cleaning out the panda enclosures and were rewarded with the treat of hand feeding the pandas.  Later, the group went to the PuZhao Temple, a very vibrant Buddhist temple with practicing nuns and monks. Afterward, they made a quick stop for food at a noodle restaurant, before heading off the Walmart to buy snacks and head to bed.

They're looking forward to much of the same tomorrow, and they will hopefully add dancing in the square with local families if weather permits!
