Gators suffer first defeat to Montrose

The Gators hosted Montrose School, at Orr Field, for their first league game of the season. Things started off in the Gators favor as Elisabeth Fitzgerald 22’ found the back of the net off a beautiful pass from Kaylee Little 23’ about seven minutes into the game. Unfortunately, this would the one and only goal of the game for the Gators. Breanna Durand 20’, Hanna Spivak 20’, Iris Bishins 22’, Emma Guevara 23’ and Katarina Klacko 21’ played solid defense for the Gators. Starting goalkeeper Claire Masterson 20’ had a season high of 13 saves. 
 
The Gators drop the league game making their record 3-1 and hit the road on Friday September 27thfor an away game at Cambridge School of Weston.
