Gators with another Clean Sheet

The varsity boys soccer team won a lopsided game 8 - 0 against Newman on the Teddy Ebersol playing fields by the banks of the Charles River. The game was controlled from start to finish by the Gators, who are building confidence and momentum with each and every game. Goals were scored by Tristan Durocher ’21Charlie Marconi ’20(x2), Olivier Khorasani ’20Sevak Glorikian ’23Stephen Moreno-Jimenez ’20Joseph Bahhady ’21,and Abdulaziz Alomran ’22.The goals for Joseph and Abdulaziz were their first goals for the varsity team. On the defensive end, Isaiah Claiborne ’21 made an incredible goal line clearance to help preserve the shutout, and George Purdy ’23 made a pair of athletic diving saves in the final few minutes to earn his second straight clean sheet.
 
The Gators are back in action on Friday when they host CSW on the turf at Mt. Ida, kickoff is scheduled for 4:15pm.
