Gators are on a Roll

The varsity boys soccer team earned another win, on the road at Landmark, 2 - 0. The Gators scored both their goals in the first ten minutes of the game. The first came when Charlie Marconi ’20 made a nice run down the right flank and played Sevak Glorikian ’23 through into the eighteen. Sevak controlled the ball onto his strong left foot and sent a quality shot past the diving keeper. The second goal came only two minutes later. Olivier Khorasani ‘20 delivered a corner kick into the middle of the area, where Miles Munkacy ’20, rose above his defender and headed the ball back across the goal into the back of the net. The Gators continued to control the game, but they could not add any more goals. Although Olivier hit the cross bar and the post with excellent long range shots. Brimmer’s defense were able to keep Landmark bottled up and the few chances they had were dealt with by goalkeeper Joseph Bahhady ’21, who earned his third shutout of the season.
