Gators dominate the second half

The Brimmer Gators hosted Boston Trinity Academy at Mt. Ida on a beautiful fall afternoon. The girls were coming off a three-day weekend, which seemed no problem for Elisabeth Fitzgerald 22’ when she put one away about four minutes into the game on an unassisted breakaway. BTA was extremely aggressive in the ten minutes of play putting away two goals past goalkeeper Claire Masterson 20’. Angeline Nur Dervisevic 21’ responded three minutes later off a beautiful volley from a cross played in by Kaylee Little 23’. The scoring continued for BTA and then again by Brimmer with about two mins left in the half when Kaylee Little 23’ tied up the game 3-3.

The second was controlled by the Gators. Brimmer only allowed two shots on goal, both saved by Claire Masterson 20’. Elisabeth Fitzgerald 22’ scored another unassisted goal and Angeline Nur Dervisevic 21’ put away her second goal of the day off a threw ball played by Hannah Ahearn 20’. Breanna Durand 20’, Hanna Spivak 20’, Iris Bishins 22’, Emma Guevara 23’ and Marianne Alagos 21’ played another solid 80 minutes of soccer for the Gators at defense.

The Gators improve to 7-2 and look forward to play a home game at Orr Field against Bradford Christian Academy on Saturday October 19th for Brimmer and May Homecoming.
