Gators run at wooded Waring

The Brimmer and May cross country team raced through the wooded campus of the Waring School this past Wednesday. The girls’ team fielded enough runners to complete a team score for the first time in three weeks. They were led by senior captain Anja Westhues (’20), who came in 7thout of 50 runners. Brimmer’s second (Leah Bell ’22), third (Talia Hammer ’23), and forth (Sophia Spring ’22) runners came in as a pack and rookie Karly Hamilton (’21) rounded out the scoring five. The Gators race again next Thursday at their home course at the Lars Anderson Park, after which the seniors on the team will be honored for Senior Day.
