Boys Host last meet at Larz Anderson

Last week, the Brimmer and May cross country teams hosted the final regular season meet at their home course at the Larz Anderson park. The boys cross country team continued their streak of winning, snagging the top spot for the seventh straight week. The team was led by Brian Gamble (’23), who set a new MBIL course record while also winning, Richard O’Keefe (’20), who got third, and Clayton Mclaren (’21), who placed fourth. Alexander Kirby (’23) improved by 20 seconds from his first race at Larz, while Zakkai Mares-Van Praag (’22) improved by over a minute and a half. Ninth grade runner Kolja Westhues (’23) finished his first varsity race after recovering from a series of season-long injuries.
