Girls Host at Larz Anderson

The girls cross country team finished in second place this week, narrowly edging out the team from Commonwealth. The team was led by Leah Bell (’22), who placed fifth in the race. Senior Lizzie Weber (’20) and ninth grader Talia Hammer (’23) finished a second apart from each other. Rounding out Brimmer’s scoring team was Karly Hamilton (’21), who cut three minutes off her time from the first Larz race, and Betty Wang (’21), who cut thirty seconds off her first race. The Gators are back in action next Wednesday at the MBIL Championship race at Gann, where the boys will look to capture the win and the girls team looks to repeat their victory from last year.
