Ring Ceremony 2019

The Ring Ceremony began with the inception of the May School in 1880 and continued when it merged with the Brimmer School in 1939.

Students in Grade 12 write short personal remarks about students in Grade 11 highlighting their experiences together. They then present them each with a gift from the Brimmer and May Alumni office. Class rings are also presented to those students who have ordered one.

A ceremony that celebrates the close relationships across our Upper School, this rite of passage is a meaningful one for our students. It is a day when the 11th graders take one step closer to becoming Brimmer alumni.
As an inclusive private school community, Brimmer welcomes students who will increase the diversity of our school. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, sex, gender, gender identity and expression, disability, sexual orientation, national origin, ancestry, or any other characteristic protected from discrimination under state or federal law, in the administration of our educational policies, admissions practices, financial aid decisions, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
