Gators take on Powerhouse Woodstock and hold their own

Gators took on Woodstock a predominately Post Grad team and showed grit and determination.  After battling early foul trouble the Gators went in to the locker room down 36-30.  The Gators could not take control of the game due to pressure from Woodstock and sheer number of bodies that could be thrown at the Gators.  The biggest un-doing was foul shooting.  The Gators were only able to go 14 for 27 from the line and missed all their opportunities in the first half.  Along with 5 misses on the front end of 1 and 1's.  The Gators will learn from this experience and be better for it.  Kyrell Luc '21 led all scorers with 24 points.  Gianni Thompson '21 with 17 points and 10 rebounds was the second highest scorer.  Another solid game for the freshman Edrick Quezada '23 with 7 points and 8 rebounds, he was battling with players 4 to 5 years older than him.

Gators will play next at home this Thursday against powerhouse Brooks School.
