Gators firing on all cylinders

The Gators came out of the gate strong led by an incredible 3-point shooting.  In the first quarter the Gators made four three-point shots, two of which were made by Angeline Nur Dervisevic.  Three-point shooting kept Landmark in the game as well. Going into the second quarter the Gators were up 15-10.  The three-point shooting by Angeline didn’t stop there but continued into the second quarter when she made a pair of threes.  The Gators buckled down on defense and held Landmark to 9 points in the second quarter.  Going into the half the Gators were up 31-19.  The third quarter was when the Gators made a MASSIVE run scoring 25 points!!! Six different Gators scored in the third quarter including 8 points from Marianne Alagos, a pair of threes from Alyssa Aslam, and 5 points from Leah Bell.  In the end the Gators came away with a huge victory against Landmark 68-41.  The Gators made a total of 10 three’s in the game. Marianne Alagos scored her season high 25 points, Angeline Nur Dervisevic with 14 points, and Alyssa Aslam with 11 points of her own.  The Gators next game is Friday. February 7th at Boston Trinity Academy.
