Our MS/US Music Teachers Rock

Middle and Upper School Music Teacher and After School Music Program Director Luca Antonucci will be giving an online talk 'Conducting Demystified' for Lasell Village, a local retirement community, on March 23. He will explore the history of conducting and take an in-depth look at the contemporary conductor’s role. In addition, he will be giving lectures for Manchester Symphony Orchestra and Chorale in Connecticut, which are open to the public. They are doing a series on diversity in Classical music for orchestra and choir.

Middle and Upper School Music Teacher Max Holman will be performing J.S. Bach’s first four Brandenburg Concertos on harpsichord with the Virginia Symphony Orchestra on March 26 and 28 (live and in person!). The performance on the 28th (Sunday) will be live-streamed, which will be available on-demand for 30 days after the performance.
