Gators with a convincing shut out

The Gators took the field on a beautiful Friday afternoon to face a well-organized Cambridge School of Weston. CSW was quick up top but Leni Hicks-Dutt, Emma Guevara, Iris Bishins, Jazzy Lang and Kayla Pierre played solid defense the entire game to shut down the CSW forwards. Sophia Bruno found the back of the net 9 minutes into the game, scoring her first goal of the season. Brimmer had many chances in the first half, but the very physical CSW defense was hard to get past.

CSW continued to shut down the Brimmer midfielders, however with accurate ball movement and quick touches, Kaylee Little put away her 6th goal of the season with 9 minutes left in the game.

Sophia Horning, Abby Jacob, Shyla Fernandes and Sasha Gerhard all played well as outside midfielders. Grace Pappas and Maddie Pogoda earned another shutout, making this the 2nd of the season.
