Chinese Culture Celebrations

We were so happy to honor the Year of the Tiger and the Lunar New Year with our community members who celebrate! Our Middle and Upper School students hosted our annual Temple Fair Celebration for all three divisions. The Fair was run by several of our Mandarin students along with a number of our international students from China. It was full of games, art, and culture. Students in grades PK through 12 spent time immersing themselves in Chinese culture.

For assembly period, Middle and Upper Schoolers were treated to traditional Chinese music and Tai Chi (a lion dance), and performances by our international and Mandarin language students. Many thanks to our faculty members who helped lead these wonderful activities and to our librarians for sharing fantastic learning resources for all ages.
