Announcing our New LS Head
Brimmer is pleased to announce that Kimberly Formisano will be our next Lower School Head beginning July 1, 2022. Ms. Formisano spent much of her career at The Park School in Brookline as a teacher, mathematics coordinator, and, most recently, as the Lower School Division Head. As the Division Head, in addition to overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Lower School, she focused on redesigning programs, curriculum, and spaces to better meet student needs. She led the hiring and training of faculty and was committed to diversifying the faculty and staff.
Before her time at The Park School, Ms. Formisano worked at the Cambridgeport Children’s Center and The Country School. She holds a B.S. in Elementary Education from the University of Vermont and an M.Ed. from Boston University with a specialization in policy, planning, and administration.
