NSPA Recognition
Congratulations to Nico Jaffer '23 and Grace Papas '23 for earning recognition from the National Scholastic Press Association. Sports Editor Nico Jaffer was awarded First Place for his Multimedia Sports Story, Quinn Nielsen ’23: Shooting Hoops at 6’10”. Executive Editor Grace Papas won a coveted Honorable Mention for her multimedia feature story, After Nearly Three Decades, Athletic Director Jeff Gates Retires.
Gator Adviser David Cutler '02 says, "This is akin to winning a Pulitzer Prize in scholastic journalism. It doesn't get any bigger than this for high school student journalists. Way to go, Grace and Nico! You make us proud."
