Grade 7 Visual Art Updates
Our 7th graders have been hard at work on their kinetic animal costumes and puppets in their Visual Arts classes! After examining references like the Bread and Puppet Theater, “The Lion King” musical puppets and costumes, and Theo Jansen’s strandbeests, students are using recyclable materials to build wearable sculptures of the animals they chose for their biomimicry projects in science. Their finished work will be on display at a Biomimicry Exhibition.
