Grade 3 French Plays 2023

Our third grade students prepared for their French Plays for months, and their hard work resulted in amazing performances of The Little Rolling Tart/ Roule Tartelette and The Mitten/ La Mitaine. Before the show, French Teacher Madame Naddaff explained to families that the French Plays require students to really dig in to their developing reading skills in French. Using the app BookCreator, she is able to support students with pronunciation while they learn and practice their lines independently and in small groups. Students then worked with Ms. Clamage to design the set in art class, Ms. Scheibe to learn their musical number in music class, and Ms. Wolf Heyman to perfect their dramatic presentation in drama class. It’s no wonder this cross-curricular collaboration remains a highlight of the Lower School experience year after year!
