LAUNCH POINT is a Boston area program designed and conducted by Brimmer and May School, recognized as a leading US independent school by the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) and named a model school for the 21st Century.

LAUNCH POINT is a comprehensive 10-day program for international students aged 11-14 to learn how to gain admission and succeed in an American college preparatory school.

LAUNCH POINT helps international students succeed in American classrooms through a unique combination of:
  • Classes integrated with American students
  • Learning seminars to help international students identify and interpret the unique aspects of American education
  • Humanities, STEAM, Arts, and Sports
LEARNING SEMINARS
Students will participate in daily learning seminars that aim to address creative thinking, communication, critical thinking, and personal expression. Guiding questions will lead students through the seminars as they discuss unique aspects of American learning methods and classroom etiquette.

STEAM SEMINAR
Students will participate daily in hands-on projects in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. Utilizing the Brimmer and May Maker Space, Innovation Space, and STEAM classroom, participants will explore the maker movement through project-based learning.
