Summer Programs

Brimmer Summer Refresh

Brimmer Summer Refresh

Brimmer Summer Refresh is an opportunity for rising 6th-12th grade students to re-engage after an atypical school year and what we hope is a REALLY FUN summer. These online mini-courses taught by Brimmer faculty are designed to help students dust off the cobwebs, fight summer learning loss, and get a jump on the new school year in math, world languages, and DEI courses. The courses are open to all students enrolled in any school.

Each online mini-course meets for two weeks (from August 2 – 13) either four or five days a week for one hour per day. Classes are exclusively online, and the links will be sent prior to the course start date. There is no (or minimal) out of class work and there are no grades. Come, learn, listen, and participate.

Teachers may offer enrichment materials for students to explore as part of the course, but the purpose is to create a fun and engaging summer learning opportunity.
