1st gr. & Astronomy Students Skype with NASA Astrophysicist

NASA Astrophysicist Dr. Geoffrey Bryden Skyped with the 1st graders and Upper School Astronomy students and answered students questions on February 10, 2016. A few weeks earlier, Astronomy students invited 1st graders to visit them and shared information about the planets—a subject that both classes were studying. In return, the 1st graders invited the Astronomy students to share the very special Skype experience.

Mr. Bryden works at the Jet Propulsion Lab in California, and focuses on the relationship between planets and the rubble left over after they form. Dr. Bryden and grade 1 teacher Sarah Murray have been friends since they were in first grade. Click here to read more about Dr. Bryden.
