Lower School Buddies Design Powered Races Cars

At Lower School Share, Buddy Groups designed balloon powered race cars. Each Buddy Group received materials such as straws, cardboard, wooden skewers, balloons, and bottle caps to build race cars. Students in their buddy pairs were challenged to design and build cars with these materials that met the specific goal set by the group. Some groups designed cars to be the fastest while other groups designed their cars to be the slowest. Students were encouraged to be as creative and crafty as possible. The Lower School community had a fantastic time using the design process with their Buddies in hopes to make the winning car!
