Brian Purcell
Sport: Varsity Girls' Soccer, Head Coach
Years of Coaching Experience: 16 years
College/High School Playing Experience: College of Charleston (competitive club team), Falmouth High School
Fun Fact: “I am an avid surfer who tries to get in the ocean at least once every month of the year.”
Why I Coach: “I've always been a passionate and enthusiastic player and fan of soccer, so it was a logical and natural transition to go into coaching. Developing both the technical and mental aspects of the game in my players is incredibly rewarding, and I look forward to helping them improve and move on to the next level.”
 
Mallorie Nai
Sport: Varsity Girls’ Soccer, Assistant Coach
Years of Coaching Experience: 10 years
College/High School Playing Experience: Western New England University, Suffield Academy
Why I Coach: “My youth and high school coaches made the biggest impact on my decision to play college soccer. I coach so I can have that same impact and connection with my players and help them succeed on and off the field.”
 
Chris Hardman
Sport: Varsity  Boys’ Soccer, Head Coach
Years of Coaching Experience: Coaching at Brimmer since 2002.
College/High School Playing Experience: University of Bradford (UK)
Fun Fact: “The Varsity Boys’ Soccer team has made it into the League playoffs every year that I have been coaching.”
 
Matt Gallon
Sport: Girls’ JV Soccer
Years of Coaching Experience: Coaching at Brimmer since 2015.
Fun Fact: “I earned a Ph.D. in anthropology from the University of Michigan in 2013, specializing in the archaeology of Asia.”
Brimmer: “I value Brimmer’s commitment to interdisciplinary perspectives and how the School works to emphasize the connections between science and other fields of knowledge.”
 
Thaddeus Price
Sport: Boys’ JV Soccer
Years of Coaching Experience: Over 20 years, FIFA certified “D” license
Fun Fact: “I am originally from Antigua. Not only am I talented player but I bring endless amounts of soccer coaching knowledge to the Brimmer program.”
 
Abbey Nyland
Sport: Middle School Girls’ Soccer 
Years of Coaching Experience: 10 years
College/High School Playing Experience: Lacrosse at University of Connecticut. Fayetteville-Manlius High School in Upstate NY- Varsity Lacrosse.
Fun Fact: “I love to be challenged, and my latest food obsession is cotton candy grapes! They really do taste like cotton candy!!”
Why I Coach: “I enjoy working with students and helping them to step out of their comfort zone and take risks through sports to help build self-confidence and team building skills.“
 
Bryan Biondi
Sport: Middle School Boys’ Soccer
College/High School Playing Experience: Lasell College, Seymour High School.
Fun Fact: “I participated in a study abroad semester in Australia studying international sports medicine.”
Why I Coach: “Although new to the coaching scene, I have had many years of playing experience. I am excited to bring my passion for strength and conditioning to the Brimmer athletics program.”
 
Brooke Heinsohn
Sport: Soccer Program Goalkeeper Coach
College/High School Playing Experience: Boston Breakers Reserve, Club Soccer at NEFC, and the Rivers School.
Fun Fact: “I am one of the country’s rising goalkeepers and have represented my country with the U-17, U-18, and U20 National Team and continue to train with the U-20s as they prepare for the World Cup.”
 
Malcolm T. Hill, Jr. 
Sport: Tennis
Years of Coaching Experience: Teaching and Coaching since 1963
College/High School Playing Experience: Newton High School, ranked in the top 10 Father & Son Doubles from 1952-1960.
Fun Fact: “I am a Tin Can Sailor and the President of the Harvard ROTC Alumni.”
Why I Coach: “I teach and coach tennis to instill an appreciation of the game of tennis first, and to show that it is indeed a game that you can play for a LONG time. I show my athletes how important it is to be a part of a team, and stress the importance of preparation, dedication, and just plain hard work.
 
Mirna Goldberger
Sport: Club Field Hockey
Years of Coaching Experience: Over 22 years
College/High School Playing Experience: She was a member of the Argentine National Champion High School team in the first seven and first eleven and played on the Princeton University, the Greenwich Field Hockey Team, and is currently a member of the Boston Minutemen Club.
Fun Fact: Aspiring sculptor/artist and has a love for traveling 
Why I Coach: “I coach to give back to a sport that has provided for me amazing life-enriching opportunities. I coach life skills for young women on the field, and these skills can be extended to real life to inspire in them confidence, collaborative spirit, and self-affirmation.”
 
Ted Barker-Hook 
Sport: Varsity Cross Country
Years of Coaching Experience: Coaching at Brimmer since 1998
Coaching at Brimmer: He has won three League Championships and has taken the Cross Country program to be one of the most competitive in the League. He works hard to combine the Middle School and Upper School programs into one cohesive team.
Fun Fact: “I have traveled to 44 states and 23 countries in the Americas, Europe, and Oceania.”
 
Larry Stahley
Sport: Athletic Trainer
Years of Experience: Certified Athletic Trainer for five years
Prior Experience: Clinical student at UMass Boston working primarily with Baseball and mens’ and womens’ Basketball, Harvard working with womens' Volleyball, and Northeastern working with spring football. He has been working at Brimmer off and on since 2012, with last year being his first year as the head athletic trainer.
Fun Fact: “I was on the golf team in high school and have been playing for almost 15 years now.”
Why I Work with Athletes: “I work with athletes because their commitment to getting healthy and returning to play as fast as possible is unlike any other population you can work with in the healthcare field.”
