Duke goalkeeper will train Brimmer Goalkeepers

Brimmer is excited to announce that Brooke Heinsohn will work with our goalkeepers during preseason soccer practices before she is off to Duke. This spring Brooke is finishing her club soccer career at NEFC and is preparing to play soccer at Duke (2015 NCAA Tournament National Finalists) in the fall.

This summer she trains with the Boston Breakers Reserve Team in the morning and plays for the Boston Breakers College Team. At Rivers, Brooke was a 2015 NSCAA All-American and led her team to multiple ISL championships. Ranked No. 24 in the class of 2016 by TopDrawersoccer.com … is No. 2 overall in the Northeast Region rankings … tabbed as the top goalkeeper in the class … 2015 NSCAA All-America … two-time First Team All-ISL as a junior and senior … collected 49 shutouts in 58 high school appearances for The Rivers School … led her squad to back-to-back ISL Championships in 2014 and 2015 … NEPSAC Class B Champion in 2013 and 2015 … as a senior, tallied nine shutouts in 11 matches … First Team All-State and All-New England

She has also represented her country with the U-17, U-18, and U20 National Team and continues to train with the U-20’s as they prepare for the World Cup. Brooke is a great role model for aspiring athletes at Prep Soccer Academy.

While blessed with athletic ability, it is Brooke’s work ethic and attention to the details of her craft that set her apart. Not only does she understand her position; Brooke is a masterful game manager and will teach her goalkeepers how to read the game and be vocal leaders during games.
