MIT Model UN

Ten Brimmer and May students in the Upper School recently attended MIT’s Model UN conference in Cambridge. Students participated in committees including the World Health Organization, the UN Refugee Agency, and the International Court of Justice as well as historic and crisis committees. They represented several countries including Burkina Faso, Mexico, Nigeria, and Costa Rica. Three Brimmer participants won awards for their committee work – Abby Jacobs '25 (Outstanding Delegate – ECOSOC, Canada), Stephanie Altschul '25 (Honorable Mention – ICJ, Judge #7), and Conno Wagner '25 (Honorable Mention – IAEA, Bangladesh).

Director of Global Studies and trip chaperone Kelly Neely says, "Congratulations to all for a successful conference!"
