    Bio
     
    Beth is Director of Health Services and Supervisor of the School Nutrition Program. Beth received her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Boston University in Nursing. Her Master's degree is in Psychiatric Nursing with a concentration in Consultation-Liaison Nursing. Beth worked at several psychiatric institutions involved in depression research, psychosomatic illness, eating disorders, addiction treatment, and child abuse, during the beginning years in her profession.
     
    Before joining Brimmer and May, Beth was a school nurse at Framingham High School for seven years. Since 1992, she has co-owned a business with her husband and continues to oversee the financial operations of that company. Beth joined Brimmer and May in 2010. Living in a cross-cultural family, Beth is committed to global education and is pleased and honored to be part of a community that values the global experience and its importance. Beth is a life-long learner and participates in professional advancement programs whenever she can. She is committed to bringing new information and knowledge to her work with students and their families, as well as the faculty and staff. Beth likes working at Brimmer and May because of its intimate size, the passion of the faculty and staff, the diversity of its student body, the active parent involvement, and the commitment to and awareness of the world around us.

    Bio
     
    A licensed clinical social worker, Emily trained at Beth Israel Hospital and Bronx Municipal Hospital Center and worked at Judge Baker Children’s Center, Boston Medical Center, and Boston Children’s Hospital in both Inpatient and Outpatient Psychiatry before joining Brimmer as the Upper School Counselor in 1993.

    Emily loves Brimmer because she enjoys working with the intelligent, engaging, and insightful student community. She also values the Schools mission to educate students to be successful in the global community.

    Danya Ravid

    Bio
     
    Danya graduated from William James College in 2022 with her doctorate in clinical psychology with concentrations in Latino Mental Health and Children and Families. She spent the last two years completing her postdoctoral fellowship at Columbia University Irving Medical Center and the Brookline Center for Community Mental Health in clinical psychology and neuropsychology. Danya has trained within various inpatient and outpatient clinical settings with children and families and has experience conducting therapy and neuropsychological evaluations in both English and Spanish.

    Prior to starting graduate school, Danya was an AmeriCorps fellow at the Massachusetts Immigrant and Refugee Advocacy Coalition and taught Spanish at a charter school in Boston.

    In her free time, Danya loves spending time with family and friends. She enjoys swimming, traveling, and live music.
