Providing Ongoing Support

Endowment gifts to Brimmer and May provide ongoing support of our students and our programs. Thanks to the generosity of visionary donors over the School’s history, our endowment supports a variety of important initiatives and relieves the reliance on current operating funds. Areas of support include:

  • Student scholarship and financial aid
  • Faculty enrichment and professional development
  • Endowed chairs
  • Program enhancement (STEAM, Arts, Global, Athletics, symposiums)
  • Unrestricted operational and facilities support

Our endowment is growing and contributes to the operating budget of the School yearly. It builds on the tradition of philanthropy and combines gifts from forward thinking alumni, parents and community members. Brimmer is lucky to have quite a number of named endowments for scholarship, faculty salaries, innovation, faculty chairs etc. To learn more about supporting the endowment or creating a named endowment fund, please contact Director of Development, Elizabeth Smith P’17 or 617-739-5289.
As an inclusive private school community, Brimmer welcomes students who will increase the diversity of our school. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, sex, gender, gender identity and expression, disability, sexual orientation, national origin, ancestry, or any other characteristic protected from discrimination under state or federal law, in the administration of our educational policies, admissions practices, financial aid decisions, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
