Exhibitions

Exhibitions of Knowledge are a hallmark of a Brimmer education. Lower School students research, prepare, and present with poise what they have learned—an important skill in the 21st century. These exhibitions promote active learning by encouraging students to think and work both independently and collaboratively and to approach learning with enthusiasm and confidence.

From the Early Childhood Program when students answer the Essential Question “What have I learned this year?” to the fifth grade Capstone Exhibition—the culminating exhibition of the Lower School, students are taught the age-appropriate skills necessary to accomplish the challenge of making a presentation in front of an audience.

Our Exhibitions of Knowledge play an important role in the assessment of our students as they use their research and writing skills to demonstrate what they have learned throughout their Lower School years.
