Varsity Girls' Soccer vs Tilton School

In their first trip to the NEPSAC tournament since 2012, the Gators played an experienced and talented team from Tilton School. The first half was a back and forth affair. Tilton scored five minutes in, but the Gators had several chances to tie the game. Both Shani Breiman '18 and Sophie Lapat '18 had several shots saved by the Tilton goalie, and a corner kick that snuck by the Gators before the defense could clear it to wrap up the first half of play.

Tilton scored two goals in the first four minutes and the deficit was 3-0. The Gators did not give up, but Tilton's defense did a great job of slowing down the Brimmer attack. Pushing for a goal, Brimmer was caught on the counter attack and Tilton scored three more goals in the last 22 minutes.

It was a great season, and the leadership from our captains, Claudia Slifka and Alina Fischer, will be missed. The Gators finished with a record of 13-3-1. The future looks bright as the Gators hope to return many players next year.
