Brimmer vs. BTA

Boy's Varsity Lacrosse
Brimmer 8       BTA 10

Brimmer opened their 2016 season with a very tenacious and spirited 10-8 loss to Boston Trinity Academy. Despite the fact that Brimmer has many new underclassmen, the game was close and competitive all the way. The team was led impressively by Alex Dolan '17 (4 goals), Jared Heller '19 (3 goals) and Andre Mitrano '18 (1 goal, 2 assists). Groundball leaders were Heller, Mitrano, Dolan and co-captain Tyler Best '18. Captain Liam Johansson '17 was amazing in goal. With twelve spectacular saves, Johannson was a strong leader of the defense. Best and Dashaun Simon '17 stood out on defense, while both also added an artful assist. Of the new players, freshman Steven Ramsden '19 saw a good deal of action and garnered his first assist in his varsity lacrosse debut. Brimmer looks to bounce back and earn their first win of the season this Thursday, April 15th against the Newman School.
