Brimmer vs. Beaver

Varsity Boys’ Tennis
Brimmer 2    Beaver 3

The Brimmer Boys Tennis Team lost a tough match to Beaver Friday at the Pine Manor courts.  It was a match only decided after a long and hard-fought #1 Singles match went to Beaver by a score of 8-6. At #2 Singles Captain Nate Friedman ‘16 swept away his opponent 8-0, followed shortly by a win from Olivier Khorasani ‘20 at #3 Singles 8-2. The #1 Doubles, George Godfrey ‘19 and Riley Shafer ‘21, and the #2 Doubles, Jeff Wu ‘19 and James Heo ‘20, both would fall by identical 8-1 scores. Sam Ravina ‘17 at #1 Singles was still on the court in a long hard-fought match that finally went to Beaver 8-6. Play by all the Brimmer Team was improved, but experience and steadiness from the Beaver teams kept the Brimmer doubles teams on the defensive all afternoon. The Gators will be back in action 4/19 at Newman at 3:30.
