M.S. AISNE Conference

On February 4, Middle School students Ugo Adiele '23, Noanddi Manigat '22, and Isaiah Claiborne '21 attended the annual AISNE Middle School Students of Color Conference at BC High School with Director of Diversity, Jessica Christian. Middle School students from AISNE schools across New England were present and attended workshops on topics ranging from Nelson Mandela and the history of Hip Hop to the criminal justice system and privilege. Our three Brimmer student attendees agree that the workshop was informative and powerful. They hope to encourage more Middle School students to attend next year's conference and to bring awareness of issues of diversity into the Middle School.
As an inclusive private school community, Brimmer welcomes students who will increase the diversity of our school. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, sex, gender, gender identity and expression, disability, sexual orientation, national origin, ancestry, or any other characteristic protected from discrimination under state or federal law, in the administration of our educational policies, admissions practices, financial aid decisions, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
