Meet @ Jerhico Park

The "Big Green Running Machine" got off to promising start yesterday! Our coaches and runners alike were VERY happy with the results of the first MBIL race of the season. While the meet was won by Gann Academy, Brimmer tied for second place with two other teams (Boston Trinity Academy and Chapel Hill-Chauncy Hall).

Leading the pack of over a hundred runners was Connor Reif ('19), finishing with a time of 17:35. Not far behind was Matthew Ayers ('18) finishing 4th with a strong kick at the end of the course. Other notable finishers were Michael Donahue ('19) - who's looking forward to a HEALTHY season this year, Jeff Wu ('18), and Richard O'Keefe ('20), who should be particularly proud of his strong run. Brimmer's top girl finisher was Kaitlyn Anderson ('20). There are several new runners this year, all of whom put in a strong effort while completing their first race. The front of the pack head off to Pingree on Friday. Wish them luck!
