Gator Tennis on a roll

The Brimmer Boys Tennis kept its winning streak goin with a 3-2 win over BTA at the Mt. Ida courts.  The Team raised there overall record to 5-3 and League record to 5-2 with the win.
At #1 Singles Co-Captain Olivier Khorasani '20 played the former #2 from BTA and had little trouble.  He won handily 8-2, combining overwhelming power with shrewd crosscourts and drop shots.  At #2 Singles Co-Captain Chris Harrison '19 soundly defeated the former BTA #1, 8-5, demonstrating again his determined , persistent, and calm approach to the game.  Yoyo Tian '24 played at #3 Singles and continued his remarkable unbeaten season with a strong 8-2 win.
At #1 Doubles Nate Suraci '22 and Jude Palmer '22 played a strong match but just fell by 6-8.
Marco DeMelo '23 played #4 Singles for his debut and won a good match 8-2.  He kept the ball in play, hit for winners when he had opportunities and looked good.
