New Ingredients in the Kitchen

Thanks to a generous donation, the Brimmer Kitchen has introduced some exciting ingredients that will benefit our entire community. They've chosen to partner with Farm Fresh RI, a company that collaborates with some of the best producers in the area, for local foods. They have also brought in local honey, which can help "educate" the immune system about the pollen in the area, potentially reducing the histamine response. In addition, they will now provide yogurt from Narragansett Creamery for our Lower School at lunch. Narragansett Creamery sources their milk from Vermont, Massachusetts, and eastern Connecticut, and makes great products that are low in added sugar and use no artificial food coloring or thickeners. The Kitchen will also bring in various fruits and vegetables when in season.
In addition, the tower gardens across campus are cranking out great quality greens that have been able to serve the whole school!
As an inclusive community, Brimmer welcomes students who will increase the diversity of our school. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, sex, gender, gender identity and expression, disability, sexual orientation, national origin, ancestry, or any other characteristic protected from discrimination under state or federal law, in the administration of our educational policies, admissions practices, financial aid decisions, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
