Derby too much for Brimmer

The MS girls traveled to Derby Academy in Hingham. The team gave their all but lost to Derby 5-1. Kaija Adler and Mimie Manigat made many beautiful saves and Mimie also made several diving saves! Derby was a highly skilled team but the Brimmer players were not intimidated. Maliyah Pierre, Nydia Comenzo, Grayson Taffe, Catherine Kozhemiakin, Charlotte Hurley, and Daphne Gosh played great defense. Poli Tsiotos, Maya Thompson, Elle Stangle, and Ginger Bierderman ran hard in the midfield. Our new players to the game of soccer continue to make great strides in their understanding of the game and positioning. Brimmer’s goal was scored by Maliyah Pierre with an assist from Maya Thompson.
