Gators hang tough but lose to Montrose in first game of the year

The Gators faced a tough Montrose team for their first game of the season on Wednesday afternoon. It was a low-scoring first quarter with a score of 4-11 going into the second quarter. Brimmer had a big second quarter, outscoring Montrose 11 to 9. Leah Bell and Toni Goldstone lead the way during the second quarter. Going into the half, Brimmer was down by 5 points. In the third quarter, the gators got into foul trouble with both Kaylee Little and Toni Goldstone, fouled out in the 3rd period. Leah Bell led the way for the Gators with 14 points.
