The Gators Started 2022 Off Strong

The Gators started 2022 off strong with a win against Cambridge School of Weston.  Haleigh Jacobs scored the first basket of the game followed by a steal and layup from Leah Bell.  Then Kaylee Rivera scored a jump shot to put the Gators up 6-0.  At the end of the first quarter, Brimmer was up 14- 0.  During the second quarter, Shyla Fernandez scored her first basket of the season.  CWS scored a handful of baskets in the second quarter making the score 21-8 at the half.  During the second half, Brimmer continued to stretch the lead. Maggie Clifford scored her first basket of the season, an awesome three-point shot, Kayla Pierre also scored her first basket of the season.  Going into the fourth quarter the Gators were up 33-13.  Leah Bell was the top scorer with 18 points.  The final score was 37-19.  The Gators play next against Landmark at 4 pm on January 13th.
