Announcing our New Athletic Director

After an extensive national search which brought several well-qualified candidates to campus, Brett Kelly will be Brimmer’s next Athletic Director. Mr. Kelly spent this school year as the Interim Director of Athletics at Boston University Academy. Before that, he worked at Concord Academy for seven years where he served as the Assistant Director of Admissions, the Athletic Department liaison to the Admissions Department, and the Student Activities Coordinator. He also coached soccer and tennis at the varsity level. Prior to his time at Concord Academy, Mr. Kelly worked at Gettysburg College as an Admissions Counselor and was the Head Coach of the men’s soccer team and the Assistant Coach for both the men’s and women’s tennis teams. He holds a B.A. from Gettysburg College in Political Science and an M.S. in Sports Management from Lasell University. 
Head of School Judy Guild says, "As we continue to make progress on the initiatives laid out in our Strategic Priorities 2020 & Beyond, we look forward to partnering with Mr. Kelly as we improve and enhance our physical education and athletic facilities and programming PK-12. He will work closely with the administration to ensure our P.E. and athletics programs are maximized for our mission and size. With an eye to the future and to advance the Brimmer Athletics Program further, Mr. Kelly will also work on optimizing the School’s strategic partnerships for field and court space and examine health and wellness opportunities and partnerships across the grade levels."
